Lucy of Attic24
Since I have been doing crochet I've hunted for sites that inspire me and this is how I came upon Attic24. Lucy of Attic24 recently posted a project that got me off the couch and into a crocheting frenzy!
Lucy has posted a very comprehensive tutorial including excellent photos so even a beginner could do this one!
The project calls for Rowan Handknit cotton which I didn't have but I did have 1970's needlepoint wool yarns so I just went for it. The colors are definitely hippie funky and you can see the errors of my crochet but hey ...I'm happy!

Dolls at the Art Clinic
The doll on the left was done by Berta Bray of Paso Robles CA (sorry she doesn't have an internet presence) and the doll on the right was done by an artist of Oaxaca Mexico. These dolls met for the first time at Art Clinic and became fast friends. Berta paints on cloth which is then made into lovely jackets and tops sold in speciality shops.
